Powerful Cordless Router
Dewalt’s cordless routers are awesome. Both this and the fixed based router are beasts. It’s got great plunge action and gets the job done.
Great ergonomics
I have a DW 618 corded router that I had put in a router table so I thought I would try this battery powered router first off I like the pistol grip which gives you more control especially when starting and stopping

This is one nice router. 2 chuck sizes, good dust collection, and a anti kickback. It's a definite upgrade from my trim router. If you do alot of router work I think it's a good investment
Convenience with Reliable Performance
I purchased this DEWALT DCW620 plunge router as an upgrade from my smaller DEWALT DCW600 router with the DNP612 plunge attachment, and it has been a worthwhile step up. Moving to a more capable plunge router provides better overall performance, and the DCW620’s design makes it much easier to maneuver during plunge cuts and edge work, especially on larger pieces. Powerful Cordless router
The DeWalt 2 1/4 hp router works as well as a corded router. This is more than up for the job you'll need it for.
Powerful as a corded router
This product replaced my bosh corded plunge router and it definitly has enough power doesnt bog down. And i love the dust collection set up. Going cordless allows me not to get hung up with the cord on large projects. Cordless also lets you concentrate more on the project and i believe is safer. I use a 5amp hour battery or bigger so no problem running out of time i highly recommend this product. I bought this when lowes had a great sale. Best price i could find.
Very egernomic
Pretty powerful for a cordless and east to control.
the rotation shut off is worth the price alone
