What Customers Are Saying
This miter saw offers a good balance of features and value for homeowners and DIY users. Key strengths include a sturdy and well-built stand, smooth sliding action, and versatility for a range of home improvement projects. However, it has some limitations such as an inaccurate laser guide, finicky miter stops, and subpar dust collection. Overall, it provides a solid performance for basic home projects but may not meet the needs of professional woodworkers requiring the highest level of precision.

I am renovating my 1959 house. Bought this sliding miter saw while building my kitchen cabinets. It doesn't cut square. Tried adjusting following the manual's instructions to no avail. Not cabinetmaking quality. Laser is still off even when i get the blade close to square. Tried giving it one more shot and the adjustment knob for the support on the stand broke off. It is plastic molded/welded into the square metal tubing. Huh? Wow! Exactly. See picture. So sick of Lowe's and other stores selling...
Great inexpensive saw
Great saw for the money - better than the Ryobi, etc. alternatives

Delta SM 10
I have owned this Saw for about six weeks. I did a couple of big jobs with it, but like a previous review, it was stated that on the chop position, it does not cut all the way and it leaves a space on the back corner. So you will always have to used it on the slide position. And, another big down side of the Dust Collection, it is the worst because dust is everywhere; except the bag or vacuum. I think I will return this one.

It’s a good saw for basic trim work and quarter round. It’s light and easy to load and unload at the job site and it’s nice that it comes with its own stand.

Great value
Purchased for $135 new in box. Excellent value for a homeowner. It’s not a Dewalt, I get it. It cuts well and the cut angles are solid. Same warranty as competitors.
Decent Saw for the Price
At this price point, this is a pretty good saw for Joe Homeowner, but it is not suited for the professional. I am a wood worker. Most of my work is on a lathe, but I do use this saw for trimming wood blanks and other projects around the house. It struggles with blanks that are 4" thick, but it does great for moldings, smaller blanks, etc. The miter gauge is not the most secure design, but I can live with it. Overall, I would recommend it to someone who is looking for a decent saw for the general...

Replacing a saw
I was looking to replace an old Craftsman saw that my Dad had handed down to me. Not only is the saw a great value for the price, it comes with a stand. The sliding saw is very easy to use.

Great Value
Really nice setup, good product, great value. My one critique is that the saw did not come plumb at a 90 deg. cut. (Just slightly off.) I had to adjust the fence to get it to square. For me, this is going to be a great saw for a long time.
