Extremely Disappointed!
I am afraid Delta quality has gone way down hill on today's product. I cut one sheet of 3/4 MDF with this saw. go to use it today for a job Im wrapping up, And poof. after hours of trouble shooting found out the starter capacitor is toast. what makes me even more upset is I called Delta Machinery for some advice on how to fix it. THey Immediately Transfer me to Rigids customer service after an hour with them on the phone they Tell me to call Delta Back which they are now closed. i cant retur...
Easy set-up and wheels make the saw easier to move
Good features. Easy to put together and use. Passed the "nickel" test for vibration. Long time fan of Delta power tools and the table saw did not disappoint.
Disappointed in overall quality.
Very frustrated with the overall quality of this table saw. For starters the assembly instructions are not accurate and include general instructions for multiple models of this saw, not specific to the model I purchased. Next problem is the cast iron top is not flat. It has hills and valleys around the throat plate which make it almost impossible to make sure the blade is 90 degrees to the top. The cast iron extension wings are almost impossible to lineup and with the main table as the adjustmen...
Good step up from a basic contractor saw
Upgraded from an old benchtop saw to this Delta saw. It has a lot better features and accuracy than the basic saws, without spending tons on a full cabinet saw. I like the cast iron wings of the upgraded model. Fence is very smooth to operate and locks in tightly. The dust control isn't great. There are some openings around the base of the blade where dust escapes before it gets captured by the vacuum port. Fairly straightforward assembly, though the labeled bags of hardware did not fully match ...
Excellent saw !
This saw has sure made a GREAT addition to my shop. It's accurate, quiet and has nice precision markings for the fence. In short, I'm VERY happy with it.

I
Unable to align riving knife with blade. The adjusting set screws (A) are impossible loosen. No indication whether you turn clockwise or counter clockwise to loosen. I had to buy a 4mm t-handle wrench as per directions snd still can't loosen set screw to move riving knife to align with saw blade. The manufacture should not be able to use the Delta name. My next tool might be a "Grizzly".

Reliable
I've had this saw for 6 months and haven't had any issues. 100% better then a jobsite saw.

Why does this saw cost $830 more than the Model #36-725T2 saw? Two cast iron wings cannot possibly be the difference.
