They do not go up all the way.

We have three on three side by side windows. The shades to do NOT go up all the way, or EVEN to the same level. ...so the left one is about 6 inches above the level of the middle one, and the right one is 2 inches below the middle window. We have found nothing on the levolor site or elsewhere on how to adjust the tension. <----- THAT is the reason for the poor rating.

Poor construction

Cords in back of shade formed a not when lifted. Pull was one single strand of cord instead of two equal strands on my other shades. Plastic used as a lining instead of fabric.

Disappointed

These blinds are very nice quality and were very easy to hang up. It was wonderful to be able to have them cut right at the Lowe's store. However, I am very disappointed in how the blinds look when they are raised. They do not fold up nicely. There is one section in particular that is poking out more than the rest. In the raised position the blinds are still 15 inches long. I expected them to be only a bit longer than the valance. I want them raised most of the time so I am really not happ...

Doesn't fold up nice

I like the design and look, quality is good, price is low. Love that you can have them custom cut in the store. I don't like that they don't fold up nice like roman shades are supposed to, also that you can't pull them all the way up. They're still covering 1/3 of the window when pulled up all the way. They're also hard to get leveled out right. Very easy to install. I'd recommend if you don't have the money for something better.

FIrst Time Having Shades in House

This is the first time I have or have had shades installed in my house. Normally we always used wooden standard blinds in our window. We wanted some thing different in our sunroom though. I had researched window and blind companies and even had estimates done. They all said the same thing when we told them we wanted wood. "That it would cost over $1200 a window. Well I had two 70in, one 105in, and on 35in so that was out of the question and they would offer cellular shades at $2500. We decided ...

Transparent at night

We bought these shades and had them custom cut to our windows and they fit perfectly and looked nice. They did let some light in, which was nice. However, when we went outside at night, with the lights on inside, the shades were almost transparent - we could see pretty much everything inside, which isn't good for bedrooms. So anyone looking for shades that provide nighttime privacy should consider something else. Since we had them custom cut, we couldn't take them back, so we had to eat the cost...

Becareful!

Purchased the store stocked shades for my new home. I had order two custom shades and wanted the light filtering in brown (that matches what is in stock at the store). Now I am being told that ALL custom orders only come in a white backing. They cannot match what I have already purchased. Debating on taking them all down, returning, and starting all over.
