Bought and used for the 1st time. No strong chemical smell. I used more no less than I usually put in with any other granules... I got in hot tub about 2 hours later and my skin felt like needles sticking me. Strong stuff! If it happens again I am switching back to my normal chlorine granules.

Clorox vs Kaboom Refills
I purchased the Clorox 1 1/2 lb SPA Brominating Tabs (1 inch) to refill my Kaboom Toilet automatic cleaner. Works just as well as the expensive Kaboom Refills. Compare to Kaboom 4 tablets for $7.88 ($1.97 each). You get about 34 Clorox tablets for $22.98 (68 cents each). Big savings.
