CityPost Deck Mount 12-ft x 36-in Black Steel Deck Cable Rail Kit Hardware Included

Easy to install and modify

Citypost is super easy to install and you can cut the railing sections down to the exact length you need . We finished the project as a homeowner in just a few hours but we did have to plan to make sure deck blocking was in the right place . This system is slick !

Affordable and Bullet Proof

I've installed alot of railings and have settled on CityPost recently. It is much stronger than the other brands with the 1/8" thick toprail which creates a seamless view with no posts sticking through it. As far as cable railing goes its the easiest to install and really good price point near the nicer picket railings. The fact that the toprail is aluminum for cutting and they use steel for strength for the posts is super smart. Can't say enough about the great support and engineering docs...

Sturdy and Beautiful

We love how this system has transformed our back yard and deck to preserve the view. Install was pretty easy with the tools provided and all parts including deck anchors were included. Shipping was fast and we had the project done ahead of schedule.

Retains View Beautifully

We looked at almost every cable railing brand from ViewRail to muzata and settled on CityPost because its backed by Lowes and the customer service and reputation were quite good. Some people seem to just be unable to order the right parts on here. We had no problem getting exactly what we needed in just a few days and install was simple. Can't recommend it enough as it really changes the look of your space.

Fast and Sturdy

We remodeled our outdoor area and installed CityPost as a couple of confident DIYers. Everything was included in the shipment including tools and instructions were easy to follow. The first section took the longest but once we got in a rhythm we were putting up cable sections in under an hour. Great product and support from our guy Konner.

Not code compliant in most states

Unless you reside in Washington or Idaho, this product is non code compliant and will require a structural engineer to stamp drawings to use it in a remodel or new build. Unfortunately the company will not provide stamps for other states, so it's up to you to pay the cost to a local engineer to create stamped drawings.

Indoor Railing came out great

We installed CityPost on our modern indoor stairs and couldn't be happier. The railing came faster than 5 days and all of Kyle's insructions were easy to follow. Customer service answered quickly when we did have a few questions. A+ support and incredibly good quality product!

Fast Shipping and robust product

CityPost railing is super robust. The toprail is isn't some flimsy thin wall like most railings out there. I also love that CityPost has an ADA rated handrail for the top of their stair railings that means you don't have to install a separate handrail for code. You can't go wrong with this and it costs not much more than nice picket railings from Fortress and anothers.

So Easy

CityPost is literally the easiest system on the market to install. I'm an average DIYer but ended up doing cable railing on my parents house and now my house. This system is so sturdy and comes with extra parts in case you have a goof. Couldn't be happier with the results!
