These are an insufficient replacement for the originals that came with the grill. I was able to grill for 6 years with the original grates, these rusted after a single a year. Don't buy and put your money towards a new grill instead.

Love my TRU-Infrared Grill but CB dissapoints
I bought my TRU-Infrared Charbroil grill new and grill on it sometimes 3 times a week. My Infrared Emitter Plates are worn and when I went to Charbroil, my model number no longer comes up. I know my grill is older but is a GREAT product so I am wondering why this is. Hopefully someone at Charbroil can help me out with replacement Emitters.

I think the product is great. I bought mine years ago, the emitters had no grate on top at that point. Can I just get 2 grates? I bought two new emitters last year.

Replacement parts as good as the original
After wearing out the porcelain on my grates, I ordered replacement grates and emitter plates for my two burner infrared grill from Char-Broil, not a third party. The two-burner grill takes three sets of the 6x17 grates and emitters. They fit perfectly. The first set of steaks cooked as advertised. Back in business at 550 degrees!

This is just what I needed to replace inside my grill. The items were reasonable priced, shipped quickly, and fit perfectly. Now any wait until it warm enough and I have to theirs to break these new items in.

Description of parts was inadequate.
I ordered the parts to restore my grill to it's former condition but I was very disappointed when the parts arrived and would not fit. this was due to an inadequate description of the parts and if I had better information to begin with, I would not have had to return them at great cost and inconvenience. Need 4 grates to replace 3 original: dead zones
7nable to buy the 3 original sized grates, now tou need to buy 4 smaller grates and emitters. So the company makes more money by requiring new emitters when all we need are grates. Plus, the 4 leaves more dead zones when grilling large items compared to the original design of 3. Planned obsolescence to the word.
