Fit and sizing has changed
They do not fit the same as they used to. I bought 2 pairs of these 4 years ago and they were made in a different country and now they have a longer in-seam and don't fit the same. I wanted the same classic fit I am used to.

Comfortable, stylish but no durability.
I love the fit and look of these pants but the rate at which they wear out is ridiculous and it's always the crotch area. I've heard many other people make this complaint, with plenty of life left in the rest of the pant, they have to be throw away because the crotch is gone. I wish carhartt could somehow reinforce the area in some way because I'm gonna have to try a different brand, by the time they're broke in and comfortable the crotch is gone and they're in the trash can.

I used to be a customer. B-18. Carhartt 100% cotton blue jeans used to be great. And the heavy duck work pants were a mainstay of the offering. Now its 'rugged flex this' and 'custom fit that'.... I keep checking back in hopes that someday you'll surprise me with a return to the best heavyduty working man's pants, but sadly not. 102291 Relaxed Straight Rigby Dungaree Pants
Love these pants if they didn't wrinkle so bad. They always look like I have been sleeping them. I called Carhartt help service and asked if there were similar pants to the 102291 pants and the person on the phone, who didn't speak very good English, couldn't answer my question. I also asked her if she could tell me the difference between these pants and the 102517 pants, and she could not. So, why would Carhartt make 2 "different" pants if the make up and style is the same? I hope Carhartt...
