Missing Parts

I received this saw and started assembly and found that two of the brackets for the stand are missing. I contacted Lowe's and was told they don't supply replacement parts and I would have to go to the manufacturer. The manufacturer (Craftsman) tells me they don't supply replacement parts and I have to repackage the saw and return it to Lowe's for a replacement saw. It's probably easier to just make a couple of brackets myself but I'm not happy with the customer service from either company.
