Wears well but requires priming

I tried using this paint (well mixed) on bare steel that had been solvent cleaned and it did not coat properly, just left smears. Once I applied Rustoleum primer to the bare metal, this paint adhered very well with only one coat. So, it is a 1-coat paint, but it absolutely requires a primed metal surface before painting.

Great Product! One Coat for Fabulous Result

Great product! I had used oil based paint rust inhibiting paint previously, that was 8 times as difficult to use than this paint. This paint finished the job in one coat, no primer was needed, and the result is fabulous.

Project Done in 1/5th Time, High Quality Result

I have a 21 year old shed that has been painted 3 times previously with oil based rust proof paint. That was a difficult process with primer and multiple coats of paint, and only lasted a few years or less. This time, only 1 coat of the paint was needed with a few touch-ups of spots I missed. The paint did not drip as easily. Much easier clean up. Took less than 1/2 gallon to paint the roof of this big 14x10 shed. Fantastic result!
