I do GC work used this for 5 months and the white led completely blew out… I didn’t even think LEDs did that. The red leds still work but for my application I don’t need those. My last headlamp lasted several years of abuse.

White LED's stopped working. Worked ok, but now Useless. Purchased a Craftsman CMXLHFP4 battery powered headlamp on January 9th, 2021. After 7 weeks, the white LED's completely stopped working. Noticed the headlamp got very warm just before failure. Even with new batteries, only the red LED's now work. Have the original Lowes receipt and Craftsman packaging. Does this have an over-the-head strap to support the weight, so that you don't need to make the around-the-head band painfully tight?
