Does the job.

Made installing recessed lights so much easier. Also used it to install a 4 inch round dryer vent.

I like that this product make perfect holes for my lights in the ceiling

Doesn't work as well as a regular hole saw

I used this for a few holes and found that it was tearing the drywall paper and doing a really rough job overall, so I switched to a regular hole saw (and used it with the drill set to reverse), and it worked 100 times better than this. Save yourself the money and hassle and just buy a regular hole saw.

Does not work well with textured ceiling

Not for textured ceiling. Could not get a grip on the ceiling for this to actually do it’s job. Did not grip well enough to work.

Works but durability is lacking.

This product worked fairly well but durrability is lacking. I would have liked a longer pilot tip, but the biggest issue is that after several holes, I looked at the ring and it wasnt circilar anymore. I got what i needed out of it for one project, but unfortunately I can't use it again.

If you need exactly 6 inch hole beware

We received the hole saw quickly and it works perfectly. The reason for 4 stars saw is 6 3/8 not 6 inches.

Includes a dust cover making this a great value! Tool is very sharp and cuts clean holes. If you want to get the job done right you need this!

item was on back order, but I was notified promptly when it arrirved. Seems to be of good quality, and workmanship.

cuts good uniform holes

saw was able to cut through sheetrock, cardboard, fiberboard and lathe. performed beautifully but the skip gap teeth took a bit of patience to get it to perform best,,, could start to bounce some. overall, it worked great and cut a good uniform hole. i used it for recessed lighting.

Consider this product first.
