have this for only 5 years. only used it about six times and now it doesn't even work. it starts and then it shuts off every time when I let go of trigger
Mostly good. Not junk. Please read.
After 3 years of use, I had the same issue that others had. It didn't want to start. took the carb off and tore it all apart, and used an ultrasonic cleaner on it. Put it back on, still didn't want to start. It would pop like it was to sometimes, but never did. Saw a review from Stonedigger here in the reviews, and he mentioned taking the automatic idle cable off, that runs from the pump to the carb, that mounted on the side with the gas tank. I saw a youtube review for this pressure washer...
Garbage
Absolute garbage. I’ve had this pressure washer for 4 years now. Used it a total of 6 times. The first use was the only time I didn’t have an issue. The second use required a carb clean so I had to take it in for that. No gas was left in the tank and Craftsman would not honor the warranty. Third use it ran for a while and then kept shutting off. Uses four through six have been the same. It won’t stay running. You have to let it sit for a little bit and it will start up but then shut off. Like th...
Waste of money Zero Stars!!
Had this power washer for a few years, not long though. Used it maybe 6 times, doesn’t stay running now, looks like it needs a new motor, way to expensive to fix, need to junk it, very surprised, been using other products from Craftsman for year, power washer is a waste of money.

Use once?
Worked great when it was first purchased. Stripped and repainted my deck. Tried using next season..won't start....what a waste of money. Craftsman should be ashamed.
3 years in and still great!
I bought this in 2020 to get projects done during the pandemic shutdown. Three years later, it works just as well as the first time. Multiple families in our neighborhood have borrowed it and we’ve had zero issues so far.

leaking oil
2 months old, used one time before storing in the garage and now a giant puddle of oil is under it. The seals seem bad and almost the entire oil is now on the garage floor.

Not your grandfathers Craftsman
Bought this product just over a year ago. Used it about four times last summer. Took it out last fall and the gas leaked into the oil pan. Cleaned and purged the system and it cranked with no problem. However the pump was not pumping water. Replaced the valves and it worked fantastic one time. Then attempted to use it again a week later and it would not pump water again. I did use the recommended spray after every use as recommended. Absolutely unsatisfied.

Buy ANYTHING ELSE
I have owned quite a few bad tools in my life but this thing is the worst by a long shot. This is my second after returning the other under warranty because Lowe's wouldn't give me a refund, both had identical problems..... 1. The auto choke is not connected correctly and I had to take both apart and figure out which springs were connected wrong or it absolutely would not start cold. 2. It has a idle down quite "feature" when you let off the trigger, 40-50% of time it just dies when it goes int...
Strongly Do NOT Recommend This Product
I purchased this pressure washer in May of 2019. It worked well for the first year and a half and has since been very difficult to start and now will not start at all. I have treated fuel when in season and in use and drained gas from tank and carb during winter months. Pressure washer is out of warranty and will not start. Definitely not worth the investment for the cost of the unit.
