One of the lightest utility knives out there. The release to close clip is inside the handle. It's a standard blade release clip if you know tools you can figure it out.

Works as expected
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sturdy plastic and locks in place. Solid folding knife for the price. Only downside is when you put the spare blades in the storage area it makes it hard to open, no big deal though.

Everyone has a problem about folding the knife again after it is open. The "New Jersey" review is correct that the trick is the bar on the bottom with the ridges on the bottom of the knife. BUT - you don't push it DOWN - you need to push or pull the ridges sideways toward the fixed side of the lever and that will release this lever that locks it in place. Craftsman should do better - at least have some minimal instructions on the packaging instead of expecting people to search online for so...
