Great Product
It works great. It definitely did the job! My only complaint is that I wish the battery lasted longer in it. It was enough to do the front yard but needed a new battery before moving on to the backyard.

String won't advance
My string will not advance and my husband keeps berating me about having to bump it to make the string advance. He doesn't believe me that it's suppose to advance automatically. The worthless instruction manual doesn't this address this either. I'll see if the spring from my Black & Decker will fit as the previous comment seems to have the answer

Auto feed did not work
Went to use the trimmer and the wire did not feed automatically so ofcourse I tried to do what most other trimers do where you feed it by hitting on the ground. Ofcourse that did not work. When I open the wire housing i guess the lever was broken so the spool now just feeds constantly. Ordered a new lever before i thought about warranty, waiting on part now. hope that helps.

Auto line feed is not apparently working.
I used this for one day. I cannot get the auto line feed feature to work. I took the spool out. I saw a pawl escapement mechanism that should allow the spool to advance. It doesn't. I manually advanced the string by pulling the spool out to release it from the escapement pawl. I then advanced the string and reinstalled the spool. I found a Youtuber who had a similar problem. He had put in a new spring and found that the new spool spring was too strong. The spool wouldn't advance. He solved his ...
