I bought this for use in an automotive shop I work at because it is much lighter to use than the big, booster packs. Many of the vehicles I need to bring into the shop have weak batteries and this is so much easier and light to use to get them started. While it does not have the power of the big booster packs, unless the battery is completely dead, it provides enough power to get the vehicle started so I can drive it in the shop to work on it.
