Out of the box the 40" aerator was easy to assemble, the parts are all of good quality, and sturdy. I've used my new aerator a few times now with four concrete cap blocks as weight for maximum soil penetration to prepare my tired compacted soil for seeding and fertilizer this spring. Complete lawn renovation prep

The Brinly, 40" star tooth spike aerator was a great help in my recent new lawn renovation. Works fine once you figure out the instructions.

Works fine and seems to do a good job on my lawn, but the instructions and pictures are very vague on the last half of the instructions. And I am very mechanical and do most of my home repairs and car repairs. But be careful if you have to backup, these jack knife very easy if your not good at backing up a trailer. Other than that I would recommend this to anyone.

Boy, is it sharp

This aerator did an incredible job on my lawn. I never realized how important it is to aerate a lawn. It was easy to put together. I suggest gloves because these blades are really sharp. It's best to use it in the spring and again in the fall. The added weight of the cinder blocks really helps the blades dig in. I and very happy with this aerator. Easy to use, easy to store. Does a great job at a reasonable price. I highly recommend it.

Attention to detail

I purchased the AS2-40BH1-G, great product but the issue I have is that the bolts that were included for the the wheels did not match the diameter on the wheels causing an awkward unstable towing experience. Solution provide a sleeve to fill the gap in between the bolt and hub, or provide a larger diameter bolt for a smoother operational yard tool. I would recommend with a stipulation.

Not bad for the price

Nice little aerator for the money. Easy to assemble. My only complaint is how easy the blocks fall out of it. You have to go pretty slow if you don’t have a super smooth lawn. I wish they had designed it with something that held them in there. I did come up with a little fix that keeps them from sliding off the ends but they still bounce out.

Weight can be easily add to it. This allows seed and fertilizer to get down to the roots. It is very durable and looks to last for years.

Seems to work okay

I have only used this one time on my lawn so far. It seems to work as intended. I put two cement blocks on it for better penetration into the soil. I may add a third the next time I use it.

Must have Product

I bought this earlier this month and was in dire need of an aerator to fix my yard. The grass was turning yellow and dying off. With this aerator i am beyond amazed at how well this helped my yard. I recommend investing in this product. Trustworthy brand and glad to have it in yard maintenance routine.
