The knob detaches from the inside parts

Won’t work in a lot of situations
The throw of the strike is less than a 1/4 of an inch and is not adjustable

Short throw
Throw on latch is very short. Need close fit for cabinet door or box for this latch to work properly

Nice quality, but short latch
The quality of this latch is nice, but the piece that links the two elements together is quite short. If the elements you are latching aren't right next to each other, it probably won't work. Disappointed! Another quarter inch on the linkage would make it so much more useful for those with older homes (who have these latches to begin with).
Great choice
This product is beautiful. It was a little larger than i expected, but looks spectacular!
