Disposable.
The spikes began damaging the plastic base right away. By the end of the first some of them were cockeyed or came all of the way out. If you only need to use it once or twice, this will work, otherwise look elsewhere.
Do not buy! Not 6” spikes.
False advertising! The spikes are 1.25”, not 6” and they would not stay in place on my feet. Returned them immediately and purchased a plug aerator.

Multitasking
Simple and inexpensive. Easiest way to do a little aerating while mowing.

Easy to use! Not made for small feet.
They were easy to assemble. And as other reviewers stated, make sure the soil is moist as the spikes went in really easily. Because they are meant to fit a range of feet sizes, my only complaint is that they were too big for my women's size 6 feet. The straps stayed on for a couple steps and then started to loosen, so I basically just placed the sandals in spots and step on them. If you have larger feet, this shouldn't be a problem.

Great when ground is soaked
I would recommend using this ONLY when the ground is soaking wet after a long period of rain. When ground is soaked the spikes go into the ground like butter.
