Essential for the Bora Straight Edge

This small attachment makes using the straight edge so much easier and accurate. There’s also a little tab to keep it parallel with the workpiece. Just make sure to measure both ends of the cut and this will help keep the edge aligned as you adjust it to your marks. Double check for square before making the cut, though. Don’t cut once and curse twice.

Good luck getting a square cut out of this.

At least the one I bought doesn’t fit into the guide rail at 90 degrees. Even if it did, the pressure from clamping the rail to the ply is enough to throw it off even more. It’s actually way easier to just use the rail and a rafter square to line everything up, and you’ll get better cuts. I love most of Bora’s products, but if you have the money, do yourself a favor and buy an actual track saw. This whole system is a poor substitute.
