Easy and economical upgrade

I recently swapped out the old, brittle cover on my backyard light switch with the Belt Outdoor Weatherproof Decorator Switch Cover, and it was a smooth upgrade. The cover feels sturdy right out of the box — durable plastic with a decent gasket for sealing. It’s made for decorator-style (rocker) switches and fit mine perfectly. Installation was simple, took about 10 minutes with a screwdriver and the included hardware. Just remember to kill the power first!

Great for outdoor or garage use

This light switch cover is great for outdoor/garage. It’s a switch cover that is installed over a decorative light switch. The cover is made of metal/rubber and a foam seal with rubber grommets around the threads of screws to keep debris and moisture out.

Bell Outdoor Weatherproof Decorator Switch Cover

The Bell Decorator Switch Cover is just what I needed for my outdoor switch. Even though my switch is on my covered porch, it may still get wet during a windy day and heavy rain. I replaced the existing cover with this decorator cover and it worked flawlessly. Installation was a breeze. It includes a waterproof gasket to seal it to an electrical box. The package comes with the screws to attach it to an existing switch. I like the look of the unit and the ease of installation.

Works great! Easy to install it even makes room for extension cord when I plug it in and you can’t go wrong. This is a great cover...nice looking, low profile.

Single Decora outside switch cover

This exterior single gang box cover is specifically made for use with Decora style switches. It includes a waterproof gasket to seal it to an exterior single steel box.

Switch cover may require bushings to line up

If you're going to use this switch cover you may need to use bushings to push the switch away from the electrical box. My switch cover failed to make contact with the new switch I purchased so I installed 2 bushings between the switch and the box to push it out further so it could make contact with the switch plate. Easy to install

This cover works well and is nice in that no wiring is needed so anyone can install it without really even needing to turn off the power if careful. It simply installs over and existing flat switch. It should seal well on most smooth surfaces and has a nice neutral gray color.

Confident this can withstand the elements

I installed this switch on my new outdoor kitchen to control the undercounter lighting. The location is definitely exposed to the elements and I feel like this switch is truly weatherproof. It features a thick rubber gasket under the cover to create an impermeable interface between the exterior and interior switch. The body feels heavy duty enough to hold up to the sun and cold.

This switch cover has a good feel and weight like it will last. It mounted to the box great. It’s has a low profile is probably what I like the best about it.
