Very effective

This is a really cool idea. Keep in mind that this is a "cover", not a switch. It places over a "decorator" switch. It will not work on a dimmer switch as it snaps similar to a toggle switch. The membrane on the inside will protect from water. I cannot speak to water entering from the front rocker. It is NEC & NEMA 3R approved. Bell Outdoor Weatherproof Decorator Switch Cover

The Bell Decorator Switch Cover is just what I needed for my outdoor switch. Even though my switch is on my covered porch, it may still get wet during a windy day and heavy rain. I replaced the existing cover with this decorator cover and it worked flawlessly. Installation was a breeze. It includes a waterproof gasket to seal it to an electrical box. The package comes with the screws to attach it to an existing switch. I like the look of the unit and the ease of installation.

Easy and economical upgrade

I recently swapped out the old, brittle cover on my backyard light switch with the Belt Outdoor Weatherproof Decorator Switch Cover, and it was a smooth upgrade. The cover feels sturdy right out of the box — durable plastic with a decent gasket for sealing. It’s made for decorator-style (rocker) switches and fit mine perfectly. Installation was simple, took about 10 minutes with a screwdriver and the included hardware. Just remember to kill the power first!

A Good WeatherProof Cover

Not much can be said about a standard weather proof cover. Remember this is for rocker switches only. The black seal on this product was a little decomposed that is why I give it a 4 star instead of a 5 star. Probably would not be a problem in cooler climates or most likely just a problem with this one cover. This is a great brand and I recommend it. .

Confident this can withstand the elements

I installed this switch on my new outdoor kitchen to control the undercounter lighting. The location is definitely exposed to the elements and I feel like this switch is truly weatherproof. It features a thick rubber gasket under the cover to create an impermeable interface between the exterior and interior switch. The body feels heavy duty enough to hold up to the sun and cold.

Good light switch cover

This is a nice light switch cover. I don’t normally have a flat blade light switch outside because I have always used the regular long nose light switch. I had one flat blade light switch that I had installed when I got this cover. Turns out it’s actually really good and easy to use versus the other light switch covers. I’ve had in the past.

1 -Gang Rectangle Gray Plastic Weatherproof Electrical Box Cover. This is a nice modern looking recepticle cover for decorator style light switches. Easy to install and has a very nice internal gasket for keeping the weather out . This is not for standard switches so if you have that type of switch you will need a different cover or change out the swutch to the Decorator style.

Waterproof Switch Cover Easy to Install

I received this Weatherproof Decorator Switch Cover yesterday. This is just what I needed to bring my outside shed light switch up to code. My old shed light switch was not waterproof so this new cover is waterproof. It is very simple to install with two included long screws. Just place the cover over the switch and screw it in. Great switch cover!
