Learn MoreThe Ashley Hearth Products AW1120E-P is a beautiful air tight plate steel wood burning stove with nickel-pewter trim that accents a charcoal black finish. A heavy cast iron door with air washed ceramic glass allows a magnificent view of the burning fire that will enhance any hearth setting. The AW1120E-P wood stove meets the stringent requirements of the EPA 2020 Step 2 certification guidelines. This wood stove has 68,000 BTUs that can heat up to 1,200 square feet. The Ashley AW1120E-P burns logs up to 18" in length while the pedestal base provides an elegant touch to any room. Here's how it works: the primary air inlet at the front of the stove ignites the wood upon start up. Once burning, the secondary air inlet at the rear of the firebox feeds air to the top of the stove through three (3) ignition tubes directly above the wood. The result is that you have ignition, or fire, at the bottom and at the top of the wood stove which, in effect, consumes the wood. This is a very efficient method of getting the most energy possible out of the wood that you are burning. The AW1120E-P model replaces the previous Vogelzang models TR001, TR001B, TR001WS and APS1100 wood stoves. best wood stove I've found

Nice Stove
I had a stove that heated up to 2000sq ft which was way too much for my smaller home. I found this unit and it's built pretty good. I always read reviews and seen some folks had a problem of burning too fast. I installed a damper on the stove pipe and it does slow your burn down pretty much but after burning for a while I did notice that the 4inch air intake on the back near the bottom definitely needs a damper also. Which I will do tomorrow. On my other model I had, it had a louver on the fron...

It works very well, no complaints. Cozy heat. Looks great in our kitchen, heats the whole house. To those complaining about it burns wood too fast - Try putting a damper inside the pipe. It has a built in damper but if you need more try a manual one inside the pipe, old fashioned, but it may help. For those complaining of smoke or can't get it lit, there's several causes for that, most having to do with knowing how to operate it. If you are a novice on wood stoves, get with a neighbor who knows...

AWESOME LITTLE WOOD STOVE
We replaced a much larger wood stove with this smaller one because of the fact that this one has a window on the front so we can see the fire. We love our new stove and have ordered the blower today to assist with moving the air. The larger one spoiled us with the heat output but seeing the fire is worth everything! Hoping the blower will make us love it even more! Thanks for a great product!

Shipping is Issue
Stove is fine, but Lowes turned order over to US Stove, which shipped it via Old Dominion Freight. They showed up with a Class 7 truck?? I do not have a loading dock at my residence. I expected a furniture truck. They dropped stove at street 200 yards from house. Lowes never mentioned this.
