This stuff is awful

The entire point of this product is to be able to place it on walls temporarily without heavily marking up the walls. That portion of the product DOES NOT WORK, like other reviewers experienced our ArtisWall fell to the ground because the AIM strips do not provide enough resilence to keep the wood up on the wall. I've had this in my living room for over 2 years and had no problems whatsoever. It doesn't fall off the wall, we didn't have to use staples or nails, the weather doesn't cause it to expand, and it's simple to install. It should take no more than a few hours for installation, certainly not months. This is actual fence wood. It isn't permanently attached to your wall, so you can remove it easily. I'm thinking of purchasing more for another wall above my staircase. Worth every penny!

Inaccurate installation instructions

This product is beautiful. However, the installation instructions are not accurate. We have had ours up on our wall for over 1 year without it falling off as other have experienced. But we installed with double the AIM strips (purchased additional strips separately). You will need a table saw to cut the pieces to fit; instructions say a box cutter and straight edge (ha!). Do NOT buy, the wood expands and falls off

I have had to install this product 3x and it still doesn't work. It buckles and comes off of the wall at the first sign of a change in weather. The product is not intended to be used everywhere yet they still send it to areas they know it wont work. They have changed their install instructions a bunch of times to try to make the product work, like leaving 1/8" gaps between planks, which looks like crap but still doesn't fix the issue. The wood expands and falls of the wall

Wow! At first I thought this was amazing. Followed the directions to a T. We had purchased it in November by May we could see the problem the wood expanded so much and it started to buckle, we had a complete accordion running down our wall, by June it fell of. Pricey? Yes. But wonderfully easy to install. I cannot deal with projects requiring a lot of time or precision. Installing these planks required neither. And my wall looks awesome!

This was a completely the best actual reclaimed wood on the market today. This is crap for the price

This was a complete waste of money. At first I thought the quality was crap for the price. Numerous boards were already splitting when we opened the box or had large areas missing where the wall would show through. We were able to make a small space work since we didn't need all the boards. But then we realized the boards were FILTHY. Looks amazing

It is just the look we were going for. It was fairly easy to install/apply. We have had to add some nails to hold the planks flat to the wall. We have stucco walls and the felt strips have come up in some places. The boards have stayed attached to the Velcro though. We don’t plan on ever taking it down so of course the few nails don’t bother us and you can’t even see them. But again the outcome is beautifully stunning.
