Horrible Odor

I’ve installed the tiles and now there is an overwhelming urine-like odor. It is as if the tiles were made of reused kitty litter. It’s been 5 days and the odor has not abated. Very dissatisfied!!

Came damaged half of them were banged up but luckily I only needed 3 for the job.

Replacing ceiling tiles because of a leak is no easy task after twenty years, especially when the product has been discontiued. However, a Lowes associate located another discontinue box of tiles "on the floor." It still had the recessed feature with a slightly different imprint pattern. What a find! And so the whole ceiling doesn't have to be replaced. Thanks.
