SKY030 exterior spiral staircase line of products consists of spiral staircase models, additional risers, center poles, matching balcony rails and safety bars. Manufactured in steel with a particular treatment (Sendzimir) that consists in galvanizing steel by using a small amount of aluminum in the zinc bath and producing a coating with essentially no iron-zinc alloy. This process guarantees high resistance and durability. The metal is polyester powder coated. The result is a staircase that is specifically made for outdoor installations because of its resistance to atmospheric elements. The staircase kits are available in 47, 55 and 63-in diameters and 3 colors – black, white and iron gray. The landing platform for the spiral staircase is a triangular/universal design for a more versatile and easier overall installation. Each kit with 12 treads and 1 landing installs with a 360° turn. By adding or subtracting treads to achieve different heights the rotation will change by approximately 26 - 30° per tread. The staircase can be turned in either clockwise or counterclockwise rotational turn if your entry and exit points need to be different. These can vary based on the overall height of your installation when measured from finished floor to finished floor. Safety bars – required by some municipalities - are available in a set of 12 to close off the back of the treads (creating a 4” maximum gap).
