Overall Ariens is going in the right direction. This machine has a lot of features compared to other machines at the same price range. Quality is better also. I think the floor mat, tow hitch and deck bumper should be included. I had to buy those separate but that's just my opinion. My biggest con I have with the machine is how rough it rides. I think Ariens should start to add suspension to their machines like other manufactures do. I'd be willing to pay a little extra money for suspension. Not...

Very poor design

I've had this mower for 2 seasons now. Tires are constantly ripping up my yard. This isn't my main is. With the 42 inch deck, there's not enough clearance on the side of the mower when going around trees and bushes. Broke the plastic sides and also my gas tank fill spout. There's no guard to protect this from happening. Not a happy owner.

I bought this 4years ago for 2 1/2 acres of lawn. It cut my mowing time by 2/3 over my previous lawn tractor. The learning curve was a bit steep and I ran it into a gully the first time I used it and had to pull it out with my car. While doing this I ripped off a good sized piece of the plastic. Overall the mower is tough and has performed outstandingly, The operator? Not so much!!! I am now a pro though, so ,better. Complaint? One. Service. Hard to find a place where they will wo...

Have mowed my lawn 4 or 5 times now with it. has roughly 4 hours on it. Cuts very well. The Kawa motor is great. Lowes did a great job assembling mine. They even called me before delivery and notified me of a dent in the mower, asked if i wanted to accept the one with the dent for a discounted price or to replace it with a new mower but would be an additional 1-2 day shipping delay. Opted for the non-dented mower but I appreciated their transparency and the fact that mower with a dent wasn't jus...
