I am a handyman now.. Retired machine design mechanical engineer. I need quality box options for my brick mailbox repair jobs. nice thick powder coated galvanized metal box. but. the door to hinge rivets are to long. The door hits the bottom so it wont open freely past 170 degrees depending on which Indian made the bottom. The box is pretty sealed up. The flag may get loose over time as it is jsut riveted onto its mount. I took all 8 hinge rivets out and replaced them with 3/16x14: tubular riv...
