The Amerimax Home Products 5 in. Aluminum outside gutter miter is designed to join two gutter lengths at a 90-degree angle inside corner. The miter features a durable aluminum construction and factory baked-on white finish to match most home exteriors. The miter is compatible with 5 in. Gutter systems and can be installed by snipping the back of the gutter, overlapping the pieces, and riveting it all together. The product requires sealant for installation as well as screws or pop rivets to be attached and all of which are not included.

An outside 5-in miter or corner allows 2 pieces of gutter to continue along an outside of roof line junction
Connect to gutter with Seamer or slip joint connector, requires sealant
Attach with screws or pop rivets

Joint has visible gaps

Would Recommend

It was easy to install and mated perfectly to a downspout connector. But there were three gaps in the connection at the 90 degree section. Luckily I had leftover joint sealant and could seal the entire joint so now it doesn't leak. Poor quality control by manufacturer. If they are going to sell a product with gaps in the joint it should come with a tube of joint sealer!

flimsy thin bad crimp aluminum foil.

It was not a good fit but I thought I could make it work- the metal was so flimsy I had to use pop rivets asphalt patch sheet metal screws but I drove 15 miles to town and spent 16 dollars for this and I was determined to make it work,I should have made one myself but hey now I know.

This does not fit the other Amerimax k style gutters well at all. I was hoping it would create a near seamless transition from one gutter to the corner to the next gutter, but it's not even close. Not only does it just not fit well, but the top edge is a completely different style from the rest of the gutter pieces which looks odd.
