Easy maintenance
Soon after moving into a new home, we decided that a water conditioning/softner system was needed. In Southern California the water can be extremely hard. I grew up with a salt system but love these new systems that require little maintenance and still do a great job. I spoke with a plumber beforehand and while he had no specific recommendation for this system, he was approving of the non-salt system. The system has eliminated chlorine odor and reduced water stains and build up, but did not completely eliminate them. San Diego city water is quite hard, so it is understandable.
