pilot arc stopped working

I bought this with high hopes have wanted a plasma cutter for a long time It came in 4 days got that power supply ran to it 50 amp 240v got it all hooked up to compressor and it cut great for about 5 min then nothing no arc. I contacted the manufacturer to see if they can help but so far not happy

Exactly what I wanted out of a plasma cutter.

I've owned it for a few weeks now. Cuts as described. Plus the price ain't bad. So far it slices through dirty, oily and rusted steel with ease. It cuts vehicle frame material easily if you have the proper air pressure and a good ground. The pilot arc really helps with blasting through dirty material.

The thing was easy to set up, plenty of features, and cuts like a champ. I've only used it on 220V input so far and it slices like a hot knife through butter. No complaints here!

I noticed that when it arrived it had been taped and re-stapled before I opened it. I knew it was a bad sign. I have been fabricating since I was 12 years old and I'm now 62 so I don't need anyone to tell me I didn't operate the cutter properly. Anyway I removed and unpacked it from the box and I noticed the cutting head had also been wrapped with electrical tape so I hooked everything up. I took a piece of 3" angle to make a bracket for my 50hp Kubota tractor(which is why I purchased this unit)...
