Then I use again around September or October to get ready for winter. I do not have to buy other fertilizer. I got this down a few days before a steady rainfall and it nicely greened up my lawn. I had done a soil test and know that my lawn was deficient in nutrients other than nitrogen and this worked a charm so far.

Twin Pine 13-13-13 Fertilizer

I bought this fertilizer mainly for the high Phosphorus (P) and Potassium (K) content which my yard needed after having the soil tested (via Michigan State Agriculture). The 13 Nitrogen is low compared to most of the fertilizers you will buy, but it still greened my yard up nicely, especially after a couple of nice rains. Used this for years. Put it on the garden in the fall when I plow it up then in the spring when I disc. Do not need anything else until the fall again. Also use on the yard early spring and just watch it grow.

I bought Twin Pines to help green up my lawn this summer. I was using the Scott's Program all year long. It just wasn't getting my grass green at all. This product was applied to seeds and produce a beautiful yard. I could not believe the results, water your grass at least twice a day. I have purchased this product twice and will purchase it again; it came highly recommended by a friend.
