The Jubilation gardenia from the Southern Living Plant Collection is a delightful reinvention of a true southern classic. This gardenia produces highly fragrant, white blossoms in late spring and re blooms periodically in summer through fall. This evergreen is naturally compact, and only grows to 3 to 4 Ft. H x 3 Ft. W, therefore, it’s perfect for smaller gardens and landscapes. Use it as a low-maintenance hedge, an accent, mass planting, or container plant. Plant in full sun to partial shade for best results. However, too little sun will result in decreased bloom and foliage production. This gardenia prefers rich soil with good-drainage. The Jubilation is hardy from USDA Zones 7 - 10. water 3-4 times per week during the first growing season, and fertilize in early spring with an acidic plant fertilizer.
