Buyers Products SaltDogg Electric Stainless Hopper with Auger is ready for heavy duty commercial use. The spreader is available in 7ft and 8ft lengths to suit most pickups. It spreads bulk salt or a 50/50 salt/sand mix. The spreader's electric design provides quiet, low maintenance operation with no need for refueling or engine servicing. The hopper and fully welded frame are made from long lasting, corrosion resistant 304 stainless steel. A powerful 5-1/4 in. full length steel variable pitch auger with stainless steel trough provides high speed material flow. The auger is powered by an independent 3/4 HP, 12V gear motor. A six-fin, 14 in. poly spinner, powered by an independent 1/2 HP motor, spreads material 5-30 ft. The stainless steel chute swings away for easy cleaning, storage, and bulk unloading. An intuitive in-cab controller features independent spinner and conveyor speeds for precise material handling. The spreader is outfitted with a top screen, stainless steel inverted V, and tie down kit and 200lb vibrator.
