Why Stone Veneer?

If you like the look of stonework but would rather work with something easier to install and more budget friendly, consider faux stone veneer. It looks exactly like real stone but it's 75% lighter. Unlike regular stone, you can apply stone veneer directly to most surfaces including drywall, concrete or brick. Faux stone veneer can be used indoors, and stone veneer siding is available for outdoor surfaces.

There are different methods for installing faux stone panels. This article shows you how to install faux stone with a pre-mixed adhesive that's supplied in a kit.

The kit includes three types of stone: flat, natural edge and corner pieces. Natural-edge pieces have a finished end to provide a clean look where a wall ends, such as fireplace openings, doorways or windows without moulding. The pieces stack tightly so you can't see the surface underneath. It also comes in various lengths, which allows for natural-looking offset seams.

Follow these easy instructions to give your home a new look with stone veneer panels.
