Raking up leaves in your yard can be a tiresome chore. Using a lawn sweeper can remove your leaves and debris faster and with less effort. Our how-to can show you how to quickly assemble and use your lawn sweeper.

Assembling Your Lawn Sweeper

Assembly of most lawn sweepers is quick and easy with a just few household tools required. While assembly for your model may be different, the steps should be very similar.

Using Your Sweeper

Using your lawn sweeper is an easy task, just grab the handles and push to pick up leaves, grass clipping, and other lawn debris. Please be mindful of the amount of clippings you have collected in the hopper, as it is not intended to carry heavy loads. Also, use proper lifting techniques when emptying the hopper. Walk in a straight line while pushing the sweeper.

Adjusting the Brushes

You will need to adjust the sweeper brushes to a good height for the best performance. It is recommended to set them ¼-inch deep into your grass and see how this works. Use the adjustment knob on the front of the sweeper to find the best height for your chore. If the brushes jam or sweeping results are poor, readjust the brush height and continue.

Not Just For Lawns

One of the advantages that your sweeper has is that it can help clear soft surfaces like lawns or hard surfaces like driveways and patios. This can help speed up your lawn care tasks and leave your lawn and home with a well-kept appearance.

Storage

When you have completed your lawn care duties, you can easily store your lawn sweeper out of the way by hanging it on the wall out of the way. Be sure that your hooks are secured into the wall and will not come out when the sweeper is placed on them.
