Because the paper instructions in the box are apparently wrong. Also, two bars that run electric to sockets are spaced exactly the width of hardware to mount, which is a poor design choice that may lead to damaged wires, so install gently but also firmly I guess.

I bought 2 for my home remodel and although they look nice, they seem to have some play on the wall. I was hoping theyd be a bit more sturdy on the wall. Also, youll definitely need to install junction boxes in the wall if you dont have them in already. Lovely

The light fixture is simple but elegant. I chose cooler LED bulbs because I like that kind of light, but a variety of bulbs will fit the socket. This does NOT come with bulbs, as some vanity lights do. I bought 2 sets - one with 3 and one with 4 lights. I haven't opened the 4 light one yet, but the 3 light one had a manufacturer's defect. Just don't wash the shades

I had no issues with the purchase, installation, or look of this product. All seemed fine until I decided to take the shades off to wash them. One washed fine. When I went to wash the second, the "frosted" part of the shade began to wash off. The 3rd shade did the same. In the end, I ended up with 3 completely different colored shades. I had to contact the manufacturer to ask for replacement shades

Ease of installation, beautiful finished product

Very easy to wire and the lights put out just the right amount of light for the smaller bathroom they went in. Bulb type is very important, you want bright white light get daytime bulbs.

Rust within 3 months of installation

The light fixture would have been perfect until it rusted 3 months after installation. Although specs say “damp rated”, the brushed nickel is not.

Beautiful Light Fixture

In going through an insurance claim renovation I had to pick out a light fixture for my bathroom. I currently had one light on each side of the mirror but asked if the wiring could be redone so that I could have one fixture above the sink. My electrician agreed to the change and asked me to go to Lowe's and choose a light fixture. When he installed this I was thrilled with the quality and the look of my new lighting! I only wish that I had done this sooner.

Brushed Nickel Finish > Chrome

Unlike other reviewers, I purchased the brushed nickel version, and I have not yet had any problems with the finish after two years. I have installed one in both of my bathrooms.

Good Product so far

Complete remodel of bathroom. Light looks great. Bought all products at Lowe's in Athens Alabama. Great help from lady working there after going to the Lowe's in Florence Alabama and walking out in disgust. Person I asked for help there acted like it was an imposition to answer some questions about plumbing and getting started with picking items out. Light Bulb Won't stay in receptacle

Ours is no longer a four-light vanity light. Something is wrong with one of the sockets. We try to put a bulb in it and it seems that something inside is no longer lined up properly. It won't stay up inside the receptacle.
