What Customers Are Saying
This top-load washer has a large capacity that can handle bulky items effectively. The impeller design avoids an agitator and includes a built-in faucet for pre-treating stains. However, it is quite noisy during fill and spin cycles, and can become unbalanced, especially with larger loads, causing excessive shaking and vibration. There are also concerns about the overall quality and durability of the machine, with some customers reporting issues within the first couple years of ownership. Additionally, the lack of a fabric softener dispenser and unclear instructions on wash cycles are frustrations for some users.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased in May. I really really really dislike this machine ! I would LOVE to have my old machine, with simple dial and knob for selecting "Wash" whether it be light, medium or heavy, etc. This machine wants to "figure it out for itself" and the bottom line is it is far too picky and takes far far far too long to just run a load of wash. It gives the user no credit for deciding anything..it's "sensors" decide everything. I am sure, in ...

Complex features mean elements to go wrong.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only had it a few weeks, but I can see issues ahead. Then, I'm a catastrophist. Only done four or five loads, and it washes nicely, is very quiet and quick. Simple to use. You don't have to tell it how big the load, how much water--just drop the clothes in and it "senses" what it meeds to do. Lid locks until the load is done. To open it, you have to turn the machine off, which doesn't turn it off at all, but first drains the tub before it unloc...

Lowes not complying with warranty
Even the executive office of Lowes is incompetent to resolve a simple issue I’ve been waiting for a technician for over a month they haven’t sent they sent it to the wrong address and now I don’t get an appointment until next month. This is ridiculous. It’s unacceptable. I am going to request a full refund.

Horrible Washer-multiple repairs
I have always had whirlpool appliances. Most recently in 2023 I purchased the above washer and it was the worst purchase i have ever made. It has been repaired twice for the tub not filling with water and the control panel freezing up and not working. When I had to call a service tech for the 3rd time to repair it, I was not going to put anymore money into the unit. Whirlpool used to be a good product, but not anymore.

Replacing - Broken after 2 years
This washer stopped working 2 years and 1 day after purchasing. The agitator stopped working, the tub wouldn't drain and the lid latch wouldn't lock. It is unusable. I am having to replace it already! My new machine will not be a Whirlpool or any of its other brands Maytag, Amana, KitchenAid and JennAir.
Loudest junk ever
This thing started squealing and screaming during every single spin cycle less than a month after purchase. Weve called and asked for support multiple times. Its barely a year old and its already broken down worse than our 20 year old washer did. Garbage. AVOID THIS ONE.

Not impressed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't like that it doesn't have a detergent or softener dispenser. My clothes are coming out with stains they didn't have and are ruined. I've tried to use a Downy ball for the softener, as the place I got it suggested - half the time it doesn't dispense the liquid. I also don't like how it rattles around with a smaller load. I tried to get the place I bought it to take it back towards a different machine, but they would not. I'm gettin...

Skip Whirlpool Machines
I would leave no stars if I could. We bought this washer/dryer set in February 2023, and 2.5 years later it's broken down for the 4th time. It's now become cost prohibitive to try and fix it, as the total cost of repairs we've spent over the last year and a half is going to exceed the cost of the machine. The year warranty is a joke, since that's about when the machine will start to break down and then you're out of luck. Besides the terrible quality of the machine itself, the wash times are in...

Does it's job but a bit noisy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The washer was part of our appliance package that came with the house. It seems to do a fine Job with our close. The first week we used it, the washer stopped draining during the cycle and would just keep running and running. I unplugged it and that seemed to reset the board and it's been fine since. The main issue we have is the noise. Thankfully we have a door we can close in the laundry room. During certain times in the cycle this thin...
