My review (for now)

Saw a few negative reviews but figured I'd be safe. Bought it and had Lowe's deliver and professionally install it. Reviews were solid. A month later and the fridge won't go below 50 degrees or so. This might just be an indictment of modern electronics (my 30 year old garage fridge runs like a swiss watch) but as of this morning, I was unwillingly signed up for the adventure of trying to salvage food, telling my kids not to drink milk and writing reviews like this. Ick.

Delivered, finally.

Today’s delivery went very quickly. Driver and helper were respectful and courteous. Highly recommend. Why didn’t these gentlemen come Monday? First attempted delivery was a disaster by other persons who decided the frig wouldn’t fit. Well same frig delivered today and it fits just as expected. Those first guys (or at least one of them) didn’t want to do the work. Wanted off early. What a fiasco. Took 3 more days to get delivery. I am finally relieved.

Review for Whirpool Refrigerator WRFF3136SZ

We only have it for 3 weeks. It's working great. Refrigerator keeps at 37F. The freezer temperature at 0 or below. All our food and freezer items are cold as should be. The ice maker is making ice. It's a quiet refrigerator. The ice maker is not loud when it dumps the ice. I just wished that the handles on the refrigerator drawers were on top of the drawers instead of the bottom. Large Inventory of In-stock items /quick delivery

The Whirlpool refrigerator/freezer is exactly what we were looking for as a replacement to the 16-yr old unit we replaced. It was one of the recommendations from the appliance repairman we met with. Lowes had an excellent inventory of in-stock units and their delivery and installation were quick and professionally done.

Ice Maker

The delivery men were very nice. The refrigerator works except the ice maker. Lowes immediately delivered a new machine but the new delivery team noticed the water line was crimped. They said that would fix the ice maker. Next morning, no ice. They are delivering a new machine today . I can only hope the ice maker works. Lowes has no repairmen so they just give you a new replacement refrigerator. I still think a repairman might have figured out how to fix.

Nice Refrigerator

The delivery person removed the doors from refrigerator and freezer. Unnecessarily. It would have fit through the foor. When they put t hem backnon they didn't align the teo foors and I had to notify Lowes. Teo other delivery people came out two days later. First off I told them more than once they could not leave their truck on our street, HOA regulations, they didn't move it even after we asked numerous times. A few issues but overall not bad.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far this fridge has been pretty good. The ice maker stopped working after three months but they came right out and fixed it. It took an hour on hold to get the appointment but once they came out they were good. The other issue I’ve had that I can’t get help with is if you don’t push the door hard to close it then it won’t close all the way.

It’s a piece of junk

I purchased this fridge back in June 2025. In August 2025 I started to notice that the freezer was no longer making ice. I called and put a repair in. Repair man came doesn’t understand why decided to order a whole new mechanism to make ice. After he leaves the next morning, I wake up and the whole top of my fridge.
