No battery life

False advertising, the battery lost 20 minutes at normal operation…and takes over 2 hours to charge. I thought maybe I was doing something wrong, nope. 20 minutes top at normal charge and if you use the “super” power 5 minutes top. You would need 4 battery and chargers to be able to use this in normal operation.

Trimmer Line Feed Is Awful, Power Is Ok.

I bought this trimmer last week and have used it a total of maybe an hour. I've had to fix or replace the line in the head 7 times already. Reloading the line is horrendous--you have to wind string two opposite directions, and the head only holds maybe 20 feet of line total. The "clip in" red piece is in the way of the line so you can't easily reload the string, you have to constantly push the red part out of the way or go over it. After all that is done, you have to feed two ends of string into...

THIS TORO FLEX FORCE BLOWER IS OUTSTANDING! The AIR FORCE IS HIGHLY SUFFICIENT. LOVE THE "CRUISE CONTROL" FEATURE AND COMFORT GRIP AND THE TURBO CHARGE. IT'S ALSO NOT TOO HEAVY..... EASY TO HANDLE.

Does the job very well

Works well, plenty of power, battery provides about 45 minutes of run time, which for the power it puts out, I think is very good. I like the balance of it. Only thing I wish different would be to have a second battery that could charge while I am using the first battery.

Terrible

I have had problems since I purchased only been able to use a few times. The string does not stay out and tapping as instructed to bring string out does not work, I have tried pulling it out but when using the string goes back in. And is very heavy with battery.

Fantastic trimmer!

This by far is the best trimmer I've ever owned. The power to cut through grass along the fence is unbelievable. The trimmer itself is well balanced (and extendable). I especially like the EASY method to replace the line. No more tangling during spool rewinds. Simply line up the arrows, insert 20' or so through the trimmer head and wind. The manual says it'll take any size line, but I like the .095 line as it's the strongest out there.

Worked for 5 months

Purchased November 2024. It was doing great until the battery went out and now the battery will not charge. It was great while it lasted but almost $400 for 4 months of use is insane. I’m going back to Lowe’s today to see if I can get it exchanged for another like it. It does a great job while it works so I would like another like it. If they can’t replace it I’ll just get something else. I can’t spend another $400 for only a couple months use.

OK....i'm the first to admit that i was hesitant about a battery power string trimmer. I've had my gas-powered Stihl for years and didn't think anything else could touch it.... but in recent months the old Stihl was just getting harder and harder to make run. So, after many many youtube videos and reviews, i chose this and it's EXACTLY what I needed. The simple loading feature is what did it for me. I don't think you'll regret this

Disappointed with Durability

I thought this fan had decent power when I first used it in November for a few times, and when I used it in March for the first time since winter, it completely broke down. The blades on the fan shredded off during my first use in March, and now it no longer blows air. For the price, I expected much better quality and longevity. A blower like this should last for years, but unfortunately, it didn’t even make it through one season. Very disappointing for such an expensive product.

Superb tool.

The Toro 60V 17-in telescopic string trimmer is a powerful and useful tool. It was very easy to put together, and is well-built. The battery charger has a fan, which is a critical part to ensure that the electronics do not overheat. The tool itself is well-built and very strong. Do NOT wear shorts while using this tool, it is not recommended due to its power. Much mower powerful and useful than my old Black & Decker. Highly recommended!
