The only thing fast is how quickly it dulls

I bought this to drill into 3/16" steel posts. It took a ton of pressure on the drill to get it to cut the first 8 holes, and each one was slower than the last. Then it simply stopped cutting at all. I switched to a Milwaukee titanium bit I thought was too ordinary for the job. It sliced through the steel in seconds with no dropoff in speed through the final six holes. The Stinger ended up being a waste of money.

Bent shank 1st use

The shank (1/4" hex quick release) bent upon the first use. The bit grabbed in the material I was drilling; wrenched my wrist and bent the shank. In other words, the shank was not tempered to the same strength as the cutting surfaces of the bit.

Good bits

Good bit. Cuts fast and still sharp after drilling 20 plus holes in to 1/8 this steel plate

Makes short work

The bit made short work of some precise holes I needed to drill for some performance upgrades to my cars suspension.

It's good. Don't expect that blue color to stay

I do like the blue color and it was made in the USA. Just wish you didn't strip away when I used it.

1/2" bit

Even with pilot hole, would not cut into mild steel, burned and dulled bit even with lubricating oil. I will never buy another, especially for the price I paid for the bit, pure trash.

Cute but so are puppies...

The color on the bit is cute. The blue will definitely allow you to find the bits over any other options but again, puppies are cute too. I had to drill some bolts out from my cars wheel bearing. The first one was like butter. I was with all joy and happiness UNTIL teh second one. It just slide on top of the pit that it created and took 15 minutes to dig an 1/8 of inch more on 1/2" of metal that needed to be removed. I tried it on the remaining 2 bolts and same thing. Fast thick steel drilling
