Made packing so much easier!

I recently used the 1-Pack Tough Grip Moving Tape Dispenser with the included 1.88-in x 65.6-yd tape, and it made packing so much easier. The dispenser is comfortable to hold, lightweight, and cuts the tape cleanly without jamming or sticking. The tape itself has a strong grip and held securely on moving boxes, even heavier ones. Don’t trust the installer. Make sure you watch him

I called to have a pro blind company come out through Lowes to measure a glass liner and a higher window. The gentleman that came out with unprepared, he did not bring a ladder. I had to call back and have someone come out a second time which was the same gentleman. This time he brought a tall ladder. He measured the window. I watched him a symbol his ladder. Recommended

I generally had good experience with this product but recently I picked this from the clearance section and it didn't appear to grip and close the boxes that well. When I received a box, the tape seemed undone from the box. Since I'm hoping that this was a one off I don't really want to give it any less than 5 stars.

Scotch tape is the best

The best tape at a bargain price. We are moving and needed packing tape. Made the mistake of buying an off brand at discount store. It was worthless. Was in Lowe’s and came across this tape on sale. It’s wonderful. Dispenser works great and tape holds tightly. Worth paying full price for but so nice to find it on sale.

Oddly, not up to standards

several people complained about the "free spooling" when they tried to use it. I found that I had to keep my thumb on the tape wheel to keep it from spinning way too easily. Not as good as other dispensers I've used.

Decent, will continue to use

Blade used to cut tape is sharp. I was either doing something wrong or the mechanism to cut the tape didn’t always work properly. I often found myself pushing the tape against the blade to cut the tape.

Sucks, Don’t Buy It

Between the tape constantly getting stuck on the metal loading gate and the stupid plastic guard never actually clearing the cutting edge when you press down, this tape dispenser literally put me in such a bad mood that it pretty much ruined my entire day. But at least the tape it comes with is nice.

Great tape dispenser!

I like the fact that I can seal anything with a quick roll and not have to separate the tape by hand and then need scissors to cut it.

Sticks Most of the Time

This tape holds well on most boxes but on boxes that have a high recycled content, the tape falls loose as it peels off with the loose fibers of the box.

Does the job, and maybe more.

With so many similar tapes from Scotch, Gorilla, and others to choose from, and not having tried them all, I can't say much other than the fact that Scotch Moving Tape is a bit thinner than tapes intended for longer term adhesion. But it does the job with moving boxes and should be fine for taping shipping boxes. The dispenser, too, is like most others and works fine.
