Product was bad out of the bag!

I did quite a bit of research before choosing this product. There were a number of problems that cascaded. 1) Probably 30% of the bag consisted of large hard clumps. I pulled the largest of them out thinking the power mixer would break up the smaller ones. WRONG. 2) It took 3-4 times the water to get a mud consistency that would even come out of the bucket when the bucket was turned upside down. Not as expected

Does not work as stated on the package. Does not self level unless watered down so much that it just sets flaky and soft. Mixing per package directions come out to thick. Spreading with squeegee or broom as recommended results in very bad surface. Broom marks do not level out, material drips from squeegee or broom onto what you already did, what your going to do next or what you are trying to level. Then impossible to smooth over. Great Product!

This product was used to level a concrete stoop. After I installed a new front door the door was higher than the original. I didn't want water to go under the Threshold and this concrete once mixed self leveled and I had time to force it under the threshold. It came out beautiful.

Flo-Coat concrete patch repair

Flo-Coat is the brand to use for concrete repair. It is easy to work, levels correctly, and dries without flaw. This bag was 10 lbs shy of the 40 lbs advertised. Expensive patch repair when a second bag is needed to finish the task!

Make 100% Sure Product is Dry and never been Wet!

The product itself is a decent product when stored and handled properly to maintain dey co ditions at all times , however the product purchased from the Lowes located 8670 Concord Mills Blvd Concord NC was well below even mediocre which produced poor results. Not for your typical Diy'er

First and foremost make sure contents are loose. I found some bags were subjected to moisture. Lumps in the mix will just complicate everything. I used almost a full gallon of water per bag which gave initial flowability. Product is not anything like a self leveling compound. It starts to tighten up very quickly. Always get more than expected!

Works as described. One must be light and quick with the squeegee to avoid perceived imperfections on the surface. Get more product than expected.

Works perfect with few tweaks

I had a large fraying concrete surface that needed some revival and i used flo coat. Initially i purchased 5 bags and a squeegee. I found that squeegee was making the job very very hard since it was creating layers no matter how much careful i was trying be. With this product the biggest trick is how fast you can apply since it starts hardening within a few minutes of pouring it.
