We bought this a few months ago and have yet to have a single week without issue. TL;DR: this is an overpriced, ok looking brick about 70% of the time. Do not rely on this as a means to replace a doorbell and certainly do not rely on this for security. I don't understand why, you have to buy extra parts to install the Ring. It comes with a corner mount that's was completely useless to me. Stopped working
Worked good until I move it to a new house I moved to. It will not go online. Had a Ring technician on the phone for over a hour and she could not get it to connect. the called dropped and she called back in about 30 minutes. Followed the same procedures and before and would not go online. Her final recommendation was to call my internet provider and have them changer the 5gz to 2.4gz. That being the case, did all the people with the dame internet provider to have the gz change...doubt it.
