Locks failed 2 days after installation

I just installed these door locks on Sunday, and Tuesday afternoon when locking my door the doorknob lock failed to lock so I had to use the deadbolt to secure my door. This morning I was going to swap the primary door lock with the backdoor lock since the deadbolt alone would be fine, then the other door knob lock failed. I will contact the manufacturer and hopefully get a resolution.

Failed after 6 months

Internal latching failed on the main front door handle. I’f shimmy it the door internal locking mechanism slips from the internal plate leading to a failure and allows people easy access to the home.

Overall great!

A little tricky to install, but could also be user-error. That look great! The circle plate is a little smaller than what was there previously so I can see some of the old paint underneath. I wasn’t planning on repainting the door but now I feel like I should :/

It allows you to lock yourself out

I bought this set to replace my current doorknob set, as my current set was old and worn out. It works well... perhaps too well. Earlier today it locked me out of my house when I went to check on my plants on my back patio. I unlocked the deadbolt and turned the doorknob to go outside. Unbeknownst to me, the doorknob was in the locked position...but it turned! I spent the last hour waiting for a locksmith that my kind neighbor called for me, and I ended up paying $92 to get back into my hou...

Fairly priced and good quality.

The screws to attach the interior knob and escutcheon skirt to the locking mechanism inside the door space (and protruding from the exterior knob) are IMPOSSIBLE to connect, thread, and screw in. If they made the screws LONGER, I think that would help get the installer 'feel' and 'tap' into the female threaded tubes better and more easily. I nearly lost my mind coordinating connecting the lock mechanism at the same time as the escutcheon screws, with them both engaged.. Maybe there is an install...

Bad lockset

It doesn't lock the door. I can open the lower lock after locking it without having to use the key.

this item is not that great

I installed this item, and after only 2 months it stopped working. The lock no longer works, and the door stays open. I’m not sure why it failed, but it’s very disappointing

Great look & feel.

They are a nice looking and operating knob/lock. Drawback is the receiving end of screw does not extend so it's quite a challenge to get them together.

after installing I got locked out of the house four or five times. the lock mechanism locks itself after a couple times of motion. it's like the spring is in wrong. I contacted the manufacturer and as usual they had no answers just told to return it to the store.
