Cheaply built locking mechanism

You get what you pay for. This knob worked great for about a week, but one day a housemate came home and said I forgot to lock the door. I thought I had, so I checked it out. The knob was locked, but if you turn the knob to the left from the outside it opens freely. Took it apart, and the knob is locked by a thin flat rod that sits in a small divet, that shouldn't let it move. But this divet is so shallow, that any rounding if its edges will allow the knob to turn freely. And I mean NO resistanc...

Purchased 2 locks and one didn't have keys. Super frustrating. Had them sent to me so I didn't have to go to the store and now I have to go to the store. Return, exchange, etc. Extremely irritated

I came on here to try and save someone $10 bucks. This knob is so cheaply built. It flat out is a piece of junk. Do not buy.

Missing keys & mislabeled lock style

I am looking to replace an interior door handle. This one states it interior but it's exterior style And it is missing the keys for unlocking it. With a true interior lock no key is required.

No frills (simple is great) easy install handles

We've been scavenging our old door handles for years. We've owned our home for almost 20 years. We finally got around to it. My stupid self got 1in, so we needed to drill the hole a little bigger (that's on me). Otherwise, insanely easy installation (did all 6 in less than 20 minutes, including making the hole bigger).

A great, wallet friendly replacement for worn out hardware around the house. The installation was simple and the fitment was identical to the removed legacy unit. I purchased a few of these, mostly fo low-usage areas and they worked great so far.

I was very disappointed in the amount or lack there of for the particular finish that I was looking for. Way too many of the bright brass. I later went to Handy Ace and found a larger selection.

Complete Junk

I had nothing but trouble with this door knob from the start and i'm no novice at this. The screw holes felt like they were cross threading. The key is always stuck and hard to get out. The knob doesn't spring back after you turn it, and when you do turn it the locking mechanism on the inside moves so that it locks you out. I expected better from Reliabilt rather than a store brand, buit you get what you pay for. At least buy a Kwikset or better if you don't want any trouble and want to feel sec...

used the latch as replacement latch for honeywell 8732301L digital knob which was not available for purchase at lowes. has a square driver and the two holes that the honeywell digital knob needs.
