This product is amazing for trees and shrubs. I have used it multiple times and my trees and shrubs are beautiful. The bag is not extra large so it's easy to handle. I love this product wouldn’t use anything else.

Very dense hard soil

When I purchased the Miracle-Gro Tree and Shrub Garden Soul from Lowe’s, it was wet and very dense. When using, had to break up the soil from the bag. As it dried, it became very hard- I suppose from a high clay content. Time will tell but I think I would been better off amending the existing soil than using this poor quality material. Very disappointed as I am well pleased with other Miracle-Gro products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I admit, I have not had the best luck growing things. So I was reluctant to buy a fig tree. But I do believe I’ve got it now, with the help of Miracle Grow Garden Soil for Trees and shrubs. After digging the hole putting some of the soil in the hole and filling it all around with Miracle Garden soil, the tree is flourishing. I love the rich texture of the soil coming from the bag. Good looking garden soil and smells authentic.

This product has the smell of garden soil enrichment. This product looks great when filling the hole around a freshly planted tree. Looks rich and worthy of growing healthier plants and trees.
