If you’re on the roof then you don’t want heavy tools. The nailer is light and easy to use. Read the directions and dial a good pressure on your compressor. I used 1-1/4 nails on OSB decking and the nailer ran best at 80 psi. Practice on the ground first if you are DIY. Otherwise, the Metabo is fast and it’s easy to load.

Most reliable
This thing runs. We had it on s job with 3 other, NEWER roofing nailers. Its was bad weather, cold single digits before wind chill. The other roofing guns couldn't run but a few nails before they stopped working, and this one just kept humming along all day.
