This saw is my favorite to use, I have used this saw for demo work, framing work and general cutting tasks. The power this saw can put out is impressive but not surprising because of the 36v platform. This saw is well balanced even when running the larger 8ah multi-volt battery and this balancing contributes to the lightweight feel that this saw has. This saw being on the 36v platform means you can also run this tool corded with the wall adaptor which is a major feature especially if you're usin...

I love this saw
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m extremely impressed with the Metabo HPT 36V Rear Handle Saw — easily a five-star tool. Out of the box it feels solid and thoughtfully designed, with a comfortable rear handle that gives excellent balance and control during long cuts. The 36V brushless motor delivers smooth, powerful performance that rips through lumber cleanly and consistently with minimal effort. Battery life is outstanding; paired with the 36V Metabo HPT batteries, I can...

Now this? This is good.
Absolutely, hands down, my favorite HPT tool. This thing is a workhorse. It is super light, and after 8 hours framing, you notice the difference. Never, not even once have I felt like it's low on power for cutting through material. Obviously, nothing beats a corded model, but this punches above its' weight class and still has 2 bars left at the end of the day. Rafter hook is sturdy and holds, the blade change wrench is in a great spot, and the depth guide is still butter smooth after banging aro...

Hands down best rear handle out there
This was my first Metabo purchase as a career long team red member, mainly due to reviews and cost I went with this saw unsure what to expect. It blew me away. The quality of Metabo is shoulder to shoulder with any big brand and I’d stand by that. It does not lack any power or cutting depth whatsoever and it being one of the lightest and most affordable rear handle on the market is just the icing on the cake. It does not have a light but that isn’t a deal breaker for the few times I feel I need ...

Hmmmm....I like it, but......
I have been using the saw for about 6 months now and I do like the saw, but there are definitely needed improvements. The saw is light for sure and easy to handle and that is the main reason I bought it. Batteries have a good run time with a lot of power for a cordless saw, batteries charge fast as well. The weight is good and bad to some degree. Light is definitely better for the stress on the arm lifting it up all the time, the only drawback with that is that the saw will drift a little if...

Solid Metabo Quality
The Metabo HPT cordless 10-inch table saw that I’ve been using for home renovation and woodworking projects, and overall, it’s been a reliable tool in a DIY setting. One of the main reasons I chose it was the cordless design. I don’t have a dedicated workshop, so being able to roll it out into the driveway or move it around the house without worrying about cords is a huge plus. The saw runs on a 36V battery, which gives me enough runtime for a day’s worth of typical cuts—ripping plywood, cutting...

King of the Rear Handle Saws
I can confidently say that this saw offers a fantastic combination of power and lightweight design, although there are a couple of minor features I'd like to see improved. One of the biggest standout features is the weight. At 2 pounds lighter than the leading rear-handle circular saw, this tool is significantly easier to handle. The reduced weight, combined with its well-balanced design, makes it much more comfortable to use for extended periods. This is particularly noticeable when you’re cutt...

Amazing Saw
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this saw 18 months ago and really like it. Plenty of power from one 36v battery (saws that need 2 batteries are too heavy for prolonged use). The hook, depth adjustment, bevel and blade change lever storage location are all excellent . The added bonus of the multi volt charger having a USB charging port makes this saw a no-brainer to own for any serious carpenter.

Great saw!
I bought this saw a few months ago, and it is a pleasure to use! Compared to regular circular saws which have the handle on top, this allows you to get behind the saw and reach across a sheet of plywood comfortably and with a much straighter cut. The only thing that would be nice to have is a light.

Power and balance from a great saw
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this as an upgrade from the 18 volt saw, very happy with it. Better power and balance than most rear handle cordless saws. Well built base and adjustments. Able to handle daily work and keep on cutting. Another quality Metabo HPT product that I'd buy again.
