Excellent tool
This is my first cordless nailer and I couldn't be more happy with it on first use and review. No problem blowing in 2" brads, love the weight, adjustment of settings, etc. Mine came with 2 amp battery but I also got a free 5 amp one with it. I was surprised at the heavy duty tote bag that came with it as well. Charger is fan cooled and came with the 2 amp battery I mentioned. building a birdhouse with the NT1850DFT
the nt1850dft works great easy to use grab and go there’s lots of birds having little babies so I was able to grab my nailer and build a bird house within moments came in very handy best thing about it there’s no nail jams and the battery last it’s the perfect tool

Little workhorse, super light and compact!
This thing is pretty great, with one caveat. It honestly has the best shooting action ever thanks to the air spring tech. Super accurate shots, like rarely any shank out or accidents. My only issue is that the safety engages kind of at an early spots if you're trying to shoot in corners. I was blind nailing some nickel gap siding and the safety pushed the tip a little to the left, making me miss my shot. It's not a huge deal, I rarely ever nail siding this way. Not bad but weird quirks
Overall very nice gun. Some weird quirks though… bump fire mode doesn’t let you bump fire and single shot like many other guns. It also is really sensitive and will go into a protection mode if you hit the nose against something lightly. These make it a bit of a pain to use.

This nailer has greatly reduced my need for an air compressor and a pneumatic 18g nailer. I have used this to install trim such as shoe molding, scotia and small baseboard. This was my first purchase of a Metabo product. I definitely love this Brad Nailer. Haven’t had any issues with this product. Simple to use and maintain.
